So, it’s been a busy week of adding finishing details to our display and figuring out the logistics of sharing it with others (explaining the lack of posts this week!).

Our plan so far…

Wed. April 19th and Thurs. April 20th we will be showing our work to superintendents, consultants, and city representatives on a drop-in basis.

Thursday April 20th from 3:30 – 5:00 we are holding our own Open House to correspond with Earth Day, so interested parties, please drop by. Feel free to email me if you have questions or want to RSVP.

Friday April 21st – many classes in the school will be coming through our display with their teachers.

Wednesday May 3rd– As part of the Board’s ‘Chase the Future’ initiative, we will be sharing our ‘project’ at the Ancaster Fairgrounds with many other Hamilton-Wentworth schools. I’m awaiting details on this one, and will let parents know more information when I get it.

Thursday May 4th– School Open House – 5:00- 7:00 – With the hope that our display will still be intact, we plan to make it available to people that evening as well.   

Virtual Tour – and for those who can’t make it in person, we’re putting together a little video to give a general idea of what’s in our display. It’s certainly not the same as being in the room, but hopefully it will help get our message out to more people.

I also received confirmation that we will be in next week’s Ancaster News, so watch for us!!
